Meet our team of Educators
Becca
Hi, I’m Becca (She/Her) a Florida native, Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), birth assistant, and childbirth educator. I support families through every stage of their reproductive journey—from conception to postpartum and beyond—with care rooted in compassion, education, and inclusivity.
As a queer parent of two young daughters, I understand the beauty and complexity of creating and growing a family. My approach is grounded in lived experience, evidence-based knowledge, and a deep commitment to holding space for all birthing people, especially those in LGBTQIA+ and marginalized communities.
When I’m not supporting families, you can find me crafting something colorful, tending to my houseplants, or sipping an iced latte. I believe in creating joyful moments, both big and small, and bringing that energy into every aspect of my work.
Let’s walk this journey together—with confidence, care, and community.
Becky
As a Tampa native with a background in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, I bring over 30 years of experience working with infants and young children. I am a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Sleep Child O’ Mine team, providing compassionate postpartum and lactation support, as well as leading our Newborn Care and Lactation Education classes.
My passion for working with babies began early in life—as a mother’s helper, babysitter, and later as a professional in schools, early learning centers, and private homes as a nanny. Each step in that journey has led me to my true calling: empowering new parents through evidence-based guidance, hands-on support, and heartfelt encouragement.
Whether you’re seeking one-on-one support or attending one of my classes, my goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and cared for as you navigate the early days of parenthood.
